Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stucco professional to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with experience in stucco application and related tasks. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply stucco to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Prepare surfaces for stucco application by cleaning, repairing, and applying necessary base layers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate work.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation as needed for structural integrity.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on the job site.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures as required, including plastering and caulking.
- Assist in renovation projects involving carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the construction site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in stucco application and masonry work is essential.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, hardscape installation, tile laying, and welding is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints or schematics.
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely on construction sites is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
