About the role:

The Department Assistant primary responsibility is to assist the department with day-to-day work functions and support the Director of Clinical Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of a Clinical Associate:

• Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying. 
• Responsible for Document Management of medical records by assuring all records are scanned in the patient’s electronic medical record
• Responsible for distributing and scanning incoming insurance correspondence to the accurate patient’s electronic medical record and intake coordinator
• Copies and distributes staff reports as requested, as well as sorts and distributes mail, faxes, and other office materials as required
• Assist in resolving any department issues
• Assists department managers and staff in handling multiple administrative functions and projects
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for Managers
• Serves customers by backing-up receptionist: answering calls, questions and forwarding messages
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

As a Department Assistant, you bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Candidate must be experienced with a minimum of 1-2 years office work
