Role Description
This is an on-site internship opportunity for a Junior Project Manager located in Roswell, GA. The Junior Project Manager will support construction projects from initiation through completion while working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, field teams, and clients. Responsibilities include assisting with project scheduling and timelines, coordinating daily tasks, communicating with contractors and clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and helping resolve logistical challenges.
The role also involves participating in site inspections, documenting progress, and using construction terminology to effectively communicate project details. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site, interacting directly with clients, and supporting multiple projects while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Background in construction with a minimum of 6 months of experience
- Certification(s) related to construction preferred
- Strong understanding of construction terminology and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients
- English required; bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate with contractors, field crews, and internal teams
- Valid Georgia driver’s license preferred
- Previous internship or hands-on experience in construction is a plus
- Being able to schedule, estimations, take off, and blueprints readings are a plus
