Duties/Responsibilities
- Help track and organize RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Assist with field visits and document construction progress
- Maintain project records, logs, and documentation
- Support communication between architects, consultants, and contractors
- Assist with reviewing drawings and construction documents
- Help with quality control efforts during construction
- Assist with basic code research and coordination when needed
- Support preparation of reports, plans, and other project deliverables
- Assist with ordering and organizing material samples
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of construction drawings or a willingness to learn
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Comfortable learning new software and tools
- Familiarity with programs like Revit, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Office is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Construction Science preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in architecture, construction, or a related field (internships count).
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- May require travel.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the job site.
