Kaas Industries – a precision CNC machining shop in Franklin Park, Illinois – is seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team.

Position Overview
This is a full-time production position responsible for operating and monitoring CNC Swiss Tsugami lathes and Mori Seiki CNC machines. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Previous CNC machine operation experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload material and finished parts from CNC Swiss Tsugami lathes and Mori Seiki CNC machines.
- Monitor machine performance and production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform basic tool changes, offset adjustments, and machine corrections as directed.
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Verify parts meet customer specifications, blueprints, and quality requirements.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions.
- Communicate production, quality, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with additional production duties as needed.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred
- Previous experience operating CNC machines, Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of machining practices and quality inspection procedures.
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience.

Schedule
Full-Time – 50 Hours Per Week
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday Overtime: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
