Job Opportunity: Material Handler
Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Material Handler at our Aurora location. We are looking for someone who is always ready to help out when needed, willing to stay late to ensure the job gets done, and demonstrates true grit in challenging situations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative and is eager to tackle tasks beyond their usual responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Check fuel on loaders before starting each shift
- Clean up in the DWGS areas and any spills in the loadout areas
- Load WDGS and ethanol trucks when necessary
- Load corn oil and ethanol rail cars when necessary
- Notify management of any potential problems or unusual noises
- Monitor DWGS production throughout the shift to identify any periods of potential problems
- Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of grain handling systems is preferred
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team
- Basic computer experience
