NOW HIRING: Executive Administrative & Personal Assistant
K9 Logic Dog Training is seeking a highly organized, intelligent, reliable, assertive, healthy, and enthusiastic Executive Administrative & Personal Assistant to support the owner and the daily operations of our rapidly growing company.
If you are VERY detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position may be the perfect fit. Experience in administration and comfort/knowledge around dogs is strongly preferred.
This role includes both in-office and remote work and ranges from Part-Time to Full-Time depending on availability and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
Administrative / Front Office
- Answer and route phone calls, emails, and messages; handle all follow-up in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule client appointments using computerized scheduling systems
- Manage incoming/outgoing communication and materials (emails, calls, documents)
- Provide general client support, greet clients, and ensure excellent customer experience
- Maintain calendars, coordinate training events, arrange travel, and schedule staff
- Monitor office supplies and research pricing/vendors
- Produce reports, presentations, and briefs as needed
- Light bookkeeping (receivables/payables)
- Maintain an efficient documentation and filing system
- Some social media posting and print marketing tasks
- Act as the point of contact between the owner and internal/external parties
Personal Assistant Duties
- Manage and schedule the owner’s business and personal appointments
- Assist in completing personal and professional tasks as needed
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
DOG-RELATED EXPECTATIONS
- Comfortable around all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Able to communicate clearly with clients about basic dog behavior and training
- (Bonus) Experience in dog handling, training, or pet industry roles
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of office management systems (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, Android/Samsung phones)
- Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fast and accurate typing
- Excellent basic math skills
- Up-to-date with office technology and applications
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism
- Stable job history with excellent attendance and reference checks
- Willingness to complete a background check
- Must have a reliable automobile
Preferred (not required):
- Management experience
- PR/Marketing experience
- Advanced dog-handling knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
