Kennel tech
**part time mornings, evening, and weekend shifts**
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess the necessary skills to provide excellent care for our furry friends.
Duties
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animals for any signs of illness or distress and report to the veterinary staff
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred
- Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Experience working in a veterinary setting or as a veterinary assistant is beneficial
