Job Summary:
Primary responsibilities include directing program and project management, conducting business
development, operating and managing tracking and monitoring tools, managing multiple programs,
and leading and mentoring a team of project managers. The PgM must be a self-starter who is
innately flexible, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has a collegial attitude. The PgM must
be customer-oriented and able to readily identify opportunities that are a good match to K2K9's
business areas and customer sets. K9 Trainer and/or Handler skills are preferred as they will be
managing all our canine capture, teaming, proposal development, and projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Ā
-Scheduling/Resource allocation, Budget, Performance management
-Supervises Regional Security Managers
-In concert with the Project Managers (Regional Security Managers), tracks program/project costs, hours, revenue generated, and all associated tasks at the project level, and develops reports on project performance.
-Validates reimbursable expenses, and monitors contract invoicing and payroll.
-Reviews for accuracy and approves project invoices prior to submission to customers or entry into
approved invoicing system
-Track program deliverables for timeliness and accuracy in accordance with contract specifications
and K2K9 Policy
-Acts as the main Point of Contact between K2K9 and their customers to ensure that all programs are
performing according to plan and that all contractual obligations are being fulfilled. Serves as
liaison between contracting authorities, corporate offices, support staff, and contract partners.
-Compiles and maintains accurate project records that include contract data, deliverables, invoices,
budgets/forecasts, costs, etc.
-Addresses any shortcomings in both project and personnel performance. Resolves personnel
issues and/or performance problems amongst project team members.
-Provide key customer liaison to ensure program success to meet all contract requirements.
-Recommend and lead efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality.
-Manage multiple projects and contracts to include: hiring and managing staff organizing, planning
and executing work and controlling program schedules and budgets.
-Lead Program Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among project and task
managers and staff.
-Resolve personnel issues and/or performance problems amongst program team members.
-Maintain accurate records of program data, deliverable items, and material.
-Directs the work activities of assigned employees and conducts/approves annual evaluations of
assigned staff.
-Conduct quarterly visits with clients.
-Ability to allocate resources across all projects to maximize program efficiencies while increasing
company profitability and shareholder value.
-Oversee program timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and scope and submit status report to
K2K9's Director of Operations.
-Accountable for the gross profitability of the Program in its entirety.
-Forecast and report Program revenue, direct costs, and gross profitability on a monthly basis.
-Works directly with Human Resources to develop hiring plans to hire and recruit individuals for
assigned and proposed programs
-Manages all nationwide programs or events
-Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:Required Skills:
-Associateās degree (Business, Management, Finance, or a similar field)
-Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding canines
-4 years minimum experience in Project Management
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools, to include MS Excel and Word, MS365
-Familiarity with DoD and/or Federal canine programs
-Capable of writing effective white papers and proposals
-Demonstrated experience and responsibility with DoD programs and projects
-Documented Project Management trainingĀ
