What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Trainer position at K2 Services?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Information Technology Trainer is responsible for the development and fulfillment of Training documentation, curriculums, and presentations for K2 Services Clients. This will include creation of QRG’s, In-Person & Remote Training, and the development of Training programs that will ensure our clients success in the world of technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide onboarding training for new employees as well as ongoing training on client’s core Applications.
· Prepare training agendas, trainer outlines and end-user materials.
· Proactively promote end-user training programs.
· Develop and participate in test processes and procedures.
· Coordinate and facilitate training programs delivered in person via one-on-one and group classroom settings as well as via audio and/or video conference to remote employees.
· Consult with outside trainers regarding training needs and coordinate as necessary.
· Oversee the development and usage of client supported technology policies and procedures.
· Prepare end-user training during upgrades and new software deployments.
· Work with the technology team to select, implement and standardize the technology in use.
· Assist technology team in evaluating software programs, troubleshooting problems, and implementing new and upgraded systems.
· Assist in the implementation, development and administration of a Learning Management System.
· Develop videos and other end-user training content for a Learning Management System.
· Provides software support to end users as needed.
· Support all desktop applications, integrations and user work-flows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 to 7 years of technology training experience, preferably in law firms or corporate legal departments.
· 2 to 3 years of end-user technical support experience
· Experience with software and systems commonly found in professional services/law firm environments including Citrix VDI, VMWare, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft, MS Teams, iManage Work 10, NetDocuments, and Workshare tools
· Ability to facilitate and conduct training in person and remotely
· Identify needs and create opportunities for training
· Experience in developing and documenting training materials
· Knowledge of the practices, procedures and techniques used in the legal practice
· Ability to establish good rapport with clients
· Has experience and is comfortable leveraging all mediums for delivering training including one-on-one, group, and remote
· Up to 25% travel may be required
