About the Role:
The Barback is the engine behind a smooth bar operation. This role supports bartenders by stocking, cleaning, prepping, and keeping the bar ready for seamless service throughout the shift.
Essential Responsibilities:
Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, and supplies before and during service
Maintain bar cleanliness including glassware, tools, and surfaces
Assist with juicing, batching, and bar prep tasks
Clear and reset bar guest spaces quickly and discreetly
Help bartenders with support during high-volume service
Dispose of trash and recycling per safety and cleanliness standards
Support bar closing procedures and breakdown

Requirements:
Must be 18
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as restocking, juicing, and glass washing
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English

Must be eligible to obtain a valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of hire. If not already certified, training and certification will be provided by the company.
