Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role based in Brownsburg, IN. The BCBA will assess the needs of children and adolescents, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and oversee the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in clinic, school, and community settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments, designing data-driven treatment goals, supervising and training behavior technicians, and monitoring progress through regular data review and team meetings. The BCBA will collaborate closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to promote consistency across environments and ensure services align with the child’s overall therapy plan. The role also includes providing caregiver and staff training, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to ethical and professional standards set by the BACB and K1ds Count Therapy.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, including assessment, treatment planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of Psychology and child development principles relevant to behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Experience with Behavior Management strategies, including proactive supports, skill acquisition, and crisis prevention within pediatric or school settings.
- Ability to provide Parent Education and caregiver training, supporting families in implementing behavior strategies across home and community environments.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, Indiana LBA, and compliance with BACB ethical standards.
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent as required for BCBA certification).
- Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy environments is preferred; familiarity with IEP processes is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Brownsburg, IN, with reliable transportation to partner locations as needed.
