What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polar Guillotine Cutter Operator position at K & W finishing, inc.?
K & W finishing, inc., a print-finishing (bindery) company located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking an experienced cutter operator to join its team.
Successful candidates will have the ability to setup and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutters. The ideal candidate will be able to set-up and operate one or more additional pieces of equipment from the following list; Stahl Folder, Bobst Gluer, Moll Gluer, Heidelberg Saddle Stitcher, Heidelberg Cylinder Press (Die-Cut), Kluge, Brausse, Magestic, Bobst, Windmill, or small machines such as hi-die, round-corner, shrink-wrap, and drill.
Must be knowledgeable about many facets of print-finishing to understand how each job will need to be set-up and cut for folders, stitchers, etc.
Hours will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (day shift), overtime as available/necessary.

- 5 years in the printing industry
