What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Worker position at K & W Enterprise?
Responsibilities
Daily:
- Empty wastebaskets & trash, replace liners, spot clean bins
- Vacuum carpets and dust mop hard surface floors
- Wet mop hard surface floors
- Dust furnishings and horizontal surfaces (including high/low areas)
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, polish fixtures, mirrors, and spot clean partitions/walls/doors
- Spot clean lobby glass
Weekly:
- Sanitize restroom floor traps
- Dust ceilings, fans, vents, and registers
- Sanitize restroom doors, partitions, and walls
Monthly:
- Scrub epoxy, restroom, and Gerfloor floors (UT scrubber)
Quarterly:
- Scrub & buff VCT floors
- Strip and wax VCT floors
Annually:
- Clean interior and exterior windows (store frontage)
- Pressure wash exterior concrete/hardscape
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or as scheduled
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $1,378.10 per month
