Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling payments accurately.
- Strong culinary knowledge is an advantage for providing informed recommendations to guests.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
