Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
• Maintain salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products or additional services
• Ensure a clean, organized workspace that complies with all health regulations and promotes client safety
• Stay current on industry trends including nail art techniques, gel application methods, and new product offerings
• Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a focus on nails
• Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with color theory for designing appealing nail art and client consultations
• Experience with salon safety protocols such as disinfection procedures and sterilization of tools
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively and understanding their needs
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently to enhance the client experience
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations is preferred
