What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafting position at K&S Staffing Solutions, Inc?
Major Responsibilities:
- Design of buildings and other structures
- Ability to design, engineer, and function as a CAD designer using AutoCAD and various Civil, Structural and Surveying projects
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and move around construction sites and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Run miscellaneous errands outside of office, using company and personal vehicles.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with and ability to use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Blue Beam
- Ability to apply various Building Code requirements to projects commonly designed by BEG.
- General overall computer skills with the ability to learn new software programs.
- Ability to work with other office staff and communicate well with others.
- Ability to work and communicate with the general public and clients.
Salary/Benefit information:
- Wage: $18/Hr.-$22/Hr. DOE
- 90-Day Review and wage assessment, with potential of increase
- 40 hour work week
- Mileage on personal vehicle paid at 65 cents per mile on each paycheck.
- Benefits eligible after 90-day probation.
- 80 hours Vacation (Accrued Annually).
- 24 hours sick pay per year.
- 6 paid holidays.
