We are looking for someone in the Lincoln, Talladega, Pell City area.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the assembly and installation of piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components on construction sites
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate fitting and alignment of plumbing parts
- Participate in remodeling, maintenance tasks, and field service activities as directed by senior team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; however, construction site experience or maintenance person work is a plus
- Basic knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with construction plumbing is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills preferred
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is beneficial but not mandatory—training will be provided
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in HVAC systems or pipe threading techniques is desirable
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills on the job
