JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure that product processed from metal stamping punch presses meet the specifications of the customer.
- REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS:
- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High School education or equivalent.
- Experience working a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Strong industrial math skills and attention to details.
- Ability to learn tasks, and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Successful completion of Pre-Employment physical.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
Class C Operator
- Operate manual part in part out mechanical stamping punch presses.
- Review shop orders, work instructions, blueprints, and inspection records in order to produce quality parts.
- Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records.
- Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system.
- Support the commitment to a safe work environment as stated in the safety vision
