What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Commercial Tire Sales position at K & R?
Salespeople are the face of our company. They are the ones that meet with and interact with the customers on a regular basis. Many times, these relationships have become lasting friendships for many years. The trust that you build with your customers will lead to effective sales. It’s all about relationships!
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with current customers, sharing sales information, new products and services.
- Seek out potential customers by introducing not only tire services but share how the K&R Team and help in all transportation needs.
- Promote and sell tires through on-site visits, phone calls, company events, and social media.
- To be informed and learn about the tire products you are selling. Participate in training sessions to guide customers to purchase the correct tires for their needs
- Develop relationships with other company sales members to coordinate joint sales events.
- Attend sales team meetings as scheduled.
- Any additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and able to pass an insurance MVR check
- A good knowledge of tires especially Commercial tires.
- Knowledge of sales in the trucking industry.
- Clear ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- To represent K&R with a professional appearance at all times
- Outside sales require a person to be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
