As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse and yard spaces, and ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities
- Receive and process inbound stock shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper placement of inventory items
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with warehousing and relocating inventory as needed
- Organize and maintain warehouse and yard areas to promote efficiency and safety
- Assist with customer pickups and prepare outbound freight for shipping
- Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Utilize the online inventory system and website to keep inventory records and images accurate and up to date
Qualifications
- Experience with heavy-duty parts preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to safely operate a forklift; previous experience strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs or more
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, including some late shifts and weekends as needed
- Effective communication skills
