West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our five facilities located in Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Muskegon. As a locally-owned group of companies, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service in the truck dealership industry. Our Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities, ensuring safety, and supporting our extensive service department, body shops, and customer service operations.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing structural damage, windows, doors, and walls.
- Address plumbing issues to prevent water damage and ensure the functionality of water fixtures.
- Repair electrical wiring issues, including shortages and severed wires.
- Maintain HVAC equipment to ensure proper climate control within the facilities.
- Implement preventative measures to reduce future maintenance issues, such as applying sealants on roofs.
- Identify and fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
- Repaint building interiors and exteriors as needed to maintain appearance.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Willingness to travel between all five dealership locations.
