Dental Assistant

• 
  Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

• 
  Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after appointments

• 
  Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control standards

• 
  Take and develop digital X-rays

• 
  Record medical histories and update patient charts

• 
  Prepare materials for impressions, fillings, and other procedures

• 
  Provide excellent chair-side assistance and patient care

• 
  Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene

• 
  Maintain inventory and ensure clinical areas are clean and organized

Requirements

• Basic Life Saving Training required or willing to obtain before starting

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

• 
  Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

• 
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• 
  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• 
  Positive, team-oriented attitude

• 
  Dental Assistant Certification is a huge plus and can increase pay
