Position Overview
K&R Glowing Pride Residential Services, LLC is seeking a reliable, professional, and attentive Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support high-functioning adult women in a live-in home setting. These individuals are very active, verbal, and engaged in daily and community activities.
This position requires consistency, maturity, accountability, and strong documentation skills. While the role is currently part-time, hours may increase based on client needs and staff performance.
This is not a passive position. Staff must remain alert, engaged, and responsive at all times while on shift.
Client Profile

Primary ResponsibilitiesATTC (Attendant Care) Services
- Provide active supervision and monitoring to ensure health and safety
- Assist with daily routines and structured schedules
- Support independence while maintaining compliance with individualized care plans
- Observe, document, and report any changes in mood, behavior, or physical condition
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times
Homemaker (HMK) Services
- Light housekeeping (client living areas only)
- Meal preparation and clean-up
- Laundry assistance as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Support household routines and expectations
Transportation Services
- Transport clients to:
- Medical appointments
- Community activities
- Approved outings and errands
- Ensure client safety during all transportation
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Accurately document mileage and trip details
- Follow all agency transportation policies
Documentation & Compliance (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Complete daily shift notes immediately after care
- Documentation must be detailed, accurate, and completed the same day
- Use EVV correctly (accurate clock-in/clock-out)
- Documentation must include:
- Services provided
- Client participation
- Mood and behavior
- Any concerns, changes, or incidents
- Failure to document properly may result in removal from schedule
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work with female clients in a shared living environment
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable following policies and procedures
- Ability to remain awake, alert, and engaged during all scheduled hours
Required Credentials (Must Be Current or Obtainable)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Auto Insurance
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- TB Test
- Indiana-compliant background check
- Completion of required state and agency training (i-Train, EVV, policies)
Work Environment Expectations
- No sleeping on duty
- No unauthorized guests
- No phone misuse
- Must remain available to clients at all times
- Must follow house rules and individualized care plans
- Professional behavior is required at all times
