Summary
As a Dishwasher at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, you play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation help ensure every guest enjoys a safe and exceptional dining experience. Working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, you’ll support our kitchen team and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to KPOT’s cleanliness standards.
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper sanitation procedures.
- Assist with trash removal, sweeping, and mopping as needed.
- Restock clean dishes and cookware in their designated areas for kitchen and service staff.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with light prep or other back-of-house tasks during busy periods.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
- Uphold KPOT’s standards of teamwork, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and cooking.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with banquet or large group service is a plus but not required.
