Role Description
This is a Contractor role for a Welder / Construction worker located in Navasota, TX. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques including arc, MIG, and TIG welding, to assemble and repair metal parts and structures. Day-to-day tasks involve interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, inspecting welds for quality, and adhering to safety protocols. Also, welding on-site for various projects. Will also perform the above off-site at various locations.
Promptness is a must for all contract work!
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques as well as various construction protocols
- Strong understanding of welding processes and working with various materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings preferred
- Focused on safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred
- Relevant welding certifications are an advantage, but not necessary at this time
