Front Counter / Receptionist & Sales Assistant

K&M Sheet Metal is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable person to join our team.

This position is the first point of contact for our customers, whether they call, email, or walk through the door. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, stays organized, and can manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers appropriately
• Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
• Enter customer orders accurately into our computer system
• Assist customers at the front counter
• Provide pricing and product information
• Process payments and prepare invoices
• Coordinate with our production team on customer orders
• Maintain customer records and filing
• Perform general office and administrative duties
• Help keep the front office organized and running smoothly

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and stay organized
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Previous office, receptionist, or customer service experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things accurately, and wants to become a valuable part of a growing company. Experience in construction, manufacturing, or building materials is a plus but not required.
