Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and graders
- Perform residential yard grading and site preparation
- Read and interpret site plans and grading specifications
- Ensure proper leveling, drainage, and soil preparation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-operation equipment inspections
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors on job sites
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of residential yard grading experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Ability to read and understand grading plans
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
