K Lund Mechanical Heating & Air is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our New Construction HVAC team as Pre-Apprentice Installers.
No HVAC experience necessary! We will train the right person.
This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to learn the HVAC trade and build a long-term career. You'll work alongside experienced installers, learn proper installation techniques, and develop the skills needed to advance into an Apprentice Installer position.
We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work, show up ready to contribute, and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Responsibilities - Assist installation crews with HVAC systems in new construction homes.
- Prepare jobsites, tools, materials, and equipment for daily work.
- Load, unload, and organize company vehicles and trailers.
- Learn basic HVAC installation tasks, including ductwork, heat runs, dryer vents, and thermostat wiring.
- Assist with installing registers, grilles, duct fittings, and other HVAC components.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
- Follow instructions and learn proper installation techniques from experienced team members.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and work toward completing them independently.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team.
- Willingness to accept coaching, feedback, and direction.
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform physical labor in a construction environment.
- Professional attitude toward coworkers, builders, and customers.
- No HVAC experience required. Previous construction experience is a plus.
