Training will be provided for the safe handling of Hazardous Materials.
Finishing Line Operator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finishing Line Operators to run and maintain our Plating and chemical conversion processes . This role is responsible for daily line operation, chemical control, part handling, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Plating and chemical conversion processes
- Perform chemical additions, solution analysis, and documentation
- Monitor and adjust chemical parameters, pH, and solution temperatures
- Assist maintenance with line repairs and equipment servicing
- Remove, clean, and replace tank components (pumps, filters, heat exchangers, fixtures)
- Properly rack/fixture parts to ensure quality plating and prevent damage
- Inspect parts before and after plating; document and report any defects
- Handle unfinished and finished parts with care and proper PPE
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements:
- Experience with Plating and chemical conversion processes or chemical processing preferred
- Prior chemistry or hazardous materials experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with pumps, tanks, and fixtures
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Work Environment:
Hands-on manufacturing environment involving chemicals and industrial equipment.
Pay Band Overview
Band 1 - Entry Operator, 0–12 months $20-22.00/hr. Trainee / supervised
Band 2 - Operator I, 1–2 years, $23-25.00/hr. Independant Operator, unsupervised.
Band 3 - Operator II, 3–5 years, $26–$28.00/hr., Senior / high-value operator
Band 4 - Lead / Tech, 5 years, $29–$30.00/hr., Process owner / leadership
