Job Summary
**COMMISSION BASED 50/50 SPLIT**
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic roadside assistance team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely recover, transport, and assist vehicles in various situations. Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to recover and transport vehicles safely.
- Assess vehicle conditions using knowledge to determine the best recovery approach.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles with proper equipment, ensuring safety during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressin their needs professionally.
- Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment such as forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Manage conflict situations effectively with tact and professionalism when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenarios.
- Physical Stamina: You must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform the necessary pushing/pulling required for securing vehicles and roadside repairs.
Skills
- Valid Driver license with a clean driving record; experience with tow truck operation preferred.
- DOT Medical Card is mandatory.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment9
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols for towing operations and vehicle recovery procedures.
