Role Description
K&K Systems is seeking an experienced Network/Camera Systems Specialist to support our cloud-connected surveillance and traffic-monitoring products. This position will configure, test, install and troubleshoot IP cameras, routers, switches, cellular gateways, and remote network connections.
The ideal candidate should thoroughly understand TCP/IP networking, remote communications, video streaming, cellular connectivity and cloud-based device management. This person must be able to diagnose problems across the entire system—from field wiring, power and network configuration to camera or cellular communication and cloud software connectivity.
- Experience with commercial IP cameras, PoE networks, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, RTSP, ONVIF and cellular routers is strongly preferred. Experience with specific manufacturers is helpful, but practical troubleshooting ability and a strong understanding of complete connected systems are more important.
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
