Overview

Starting Pay: $35 per hour

Work Schedule: M-F 6:30am - 5:00pm

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly, eligible for overtime pay rate)

Health/Vision/Dental/Life insurance after 60 days.

80 hours of PTO per year (40 hours after 30 days 40 hours after 6 months)

6 observed holidays 1 floating holiday

401k plan after 1 year (3% match)

What You’ll Do

  • Write inspection program code on Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software.
  • Advise CMM operators on appropriate probes, fixtures, and configurations required to execute inspection programs accurately.
  • Coordinate with Inspectors and Technicians to troubleshoot inspection issues and quality problems, reconciling CMM inspection results with program code.
  • Assist with related quality control tasks, such as the calibration of metrology tools and the visual inspection of manufactured product.
  • Support manufacturing operations by working closely with cross-functional teams and managers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-5 years of CMM programming experience, preferably using PC-DMIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred, but not required
  • Intimate familiarity with metrology tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gages—along with related calibration procedures.
  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T
  • Familiar with problem-solving tools (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Why)
  • Ideally, familiar with aerospace manufacturing quality standards (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A cooperative attitude and the willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with others.
