Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/Data Integration solutions using IBM DataStage (latest versions).

Develop scalable and high-performance data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing.

Lead migration and modernization initiatives from traditional DataStage environments to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).

Design and implement reusable ETL frameworks, shared containers, parameter sets, and automation components.

Perform complex data mapping, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs, databases, and data flows.

Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams during solution design and delivery.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Create and maintain technical design documents, source-to-target mappings, and operational runbooks.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and data quality standards.
