Principal Engineer – Siemens OpCenter EXDS Logistics (MES/LES)
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to serve as the functional domain expert for Siemens MOM OpCenter EXDS Logistics supporting a large-scale battery manufacturing program.
Key Qualifications:
• 8 years of MES/LES experience
• 5 years of Siemens OpCenter experience (EXDS preferred)
• Expertise in warehouse management, inventory control, inbound and outbound logistics
• Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, backlog management, user stories, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong business process mapping and functional consulting skills
Preferred:
• Automotive or battery manufacturing experience
• Logistics Execution Systems (LES) experience
• SAFe or Scrum certification
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Logistics
Responsibilities:
• Act as the functional SME for Siemens MOM OpCenter EXDS Logistics
• Lead process mapping and requirements workshops
• Manage product backlogs, epics, and user stories
• Collaborate with business, IT, and development teams
• Drive logistics and inventory management process improvements
• Support user adoption, training, and change management
