This role will lead cross-functional engineering and product teams responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing mission-critical airline software solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical leadership, aviation domain knowledge, and stakeholder management, with experience working closely with airlines, operations teams, and product organizations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Technical & Product Leadership
- Lead development and delivery of commercial aviation and flight management software platforms
- Drive system architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability
- Guide engineering teams across full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment)
Aviation Operations Expertise
- Collaborate with airline stakeholders on flight planning, dispatch, crew operations, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure systems align with FAA / global aviation standards
- Translate airline operational requirements into scalable software solutions
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and mentor engineering, product, and technical teams
- Work with business leaders, customers, and vendors to define roadmap and priorities
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and airline business users
Process Optimization
- Improve operational efficiency through system enhancements and automation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across commercial airline platforms
- Oversee documentation, support models, and production stability
🔹 Must-Have Skills & Experience
