Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and merchandising to maximize profitability.
• Lead and supervise retail sales teams by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-energy, customer-focused environment.
• Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a strong team.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and inventory management systems to ensure product availability.
• Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising staff during shifts, and ensuring smooth operational flow.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring team members deliver exceptional experiences.
• Conduct training & development sessions for staff on retail industry sales techniques, product knowledge—including wireless sales—and operational procedures.
• Utilize managerial communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for purchasing decisions and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with store policies related to cash handling, cashiering procedures, safety protocols, and organizational standards.

Experience

• Proven supervisory or assistant managerial experience within the retail industry or grocery stores with a focus on sales team management.
• Strong background in retail sales management including merchandising, inventory control, pricing strategies, and POS systems operation.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development.
• Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for daily operations.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities such as shift management and operational oversight.
• Effective communication skills essential for leadership roles involving team supervision and customer interactions.
