Full Service Sales/Merchandiser Representative

We are a locally-owned, family business looking for the right individual to join our team as a Full Service Sales/Merchandiser Representative for Oahu. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, self-directed with strong initiative and able to work independently with little to no supervision. Full Service Sales/Merchandiser Representatives must have strong organizational skills and must manage time efficiently. We need someone with a “can do!” attitude who is open to new ideas and concepts.

This is a full-time position, responsible for generating sales and servicing retail accounts within an assigned territory. Some of the primary duties and functions of Full Service Sales Representatives include, but are not limited to:

• Increasing sales volume by addressing distribution voids and out of stock issues.
• Creating replenishment orders. Suggesting quantities needed and requesting secondary display activity.
• Providing merchandising support. Assuring authorized items are in distribution and have price tags. Pulling product out of back rooms to fill distribution voids.
• Tidying and fronting all merchandise, checking for product freshness and removing out-of-date or defective items from shelves. Assisting store department managers with processing of returns and credits.
• Assisting customer-scheduled resets and seasonal set ups.
• Communicating with store department managers regularly on orders, new items, promotional information, and other issues.
• Occasional assistance with deliveries may be needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or equivalent
• Language: English
• Tech savvy: able to use a company-issued tablet for taking orders, surveys, photos, and sending/receiving emails.
• Capable of regularly transporting items between 10-30 pounds in weight.
• Safe use of hand trucks, carts and pallet jack devices.
• Able to occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to remain upright, move, exert force, crouch, flex, and extend during work hours.
• Able to move products in tight spaces and climb/descend stairs while carrying products.
• Exhibit a bright and skilled demeanor when involved in collaborative efforts or independent task.
• Fundamental mathematical abilities, such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
• Proficiency in effectively reading and understanding labels, tickets, and other forms of product documentation with precision.
• Use computer system or mobile devices independently, following proper training with consistent oversight.
• Demonstrating adeptness in spoken and written interactions.
• Competence in comprehending, conversing in, and interpreting English to adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and directives.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto and current car insurance.
• Work 40 hours a week. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Periodically accommodate client and/or customer’s appointments

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
