What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at K Johnson Construction?
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our growing company! The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully leading a team to complete scopes of work including footings and foundations, flatwork, and/or paving for commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Commercial construction blue print reading
- Ability to layout building foundations using TotalStation, Offsets and Benchmarks
- Reading and interpreting project specifications and requirements
- Team Supervision, Leadership and Training
- Ability to lead a crew of 10 or more with clear communication
- Project Coordination including equipment, tools and materials management
- Quality Control
- Safety Management
- Administrative Duties
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of commercial concrete experience with 2 years in a leadership position
- ACI Certification
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Class D license, Class A preferred
- Current Health Card
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Ability to lift 75-100lbs
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Our work is year-round and within 1 - 1 1/2 hours from our Sauk Rapids, MN office. Many projects are located within 15-20 minutes of our office.
