The Permit Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the issuance of permits from various municipalities in a timely and efficient manner. Submit necessary documents to Purchasing for PO's. Follow up with Purchasing regarding PO status and obtain necessary reports. Put together start packages and distribute to Community Construction Manager. Maintain plan files with updated plans. Ensure payments of necessary fees prior to final closing (i.e. impact fees). Additional duties will include assisting other members of the Contract Administration department as needed.
Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to read blueprints and intermediate Excel skill level required. Homebuilder experience and college degree preferred.
