As a Land Acquisition Analyst, your contribution to providing an adequate supply of land is critical…it all starts with the land. Do you want to use your knowledge of the local market/area, competition, and political environment to support key leaders as they present land deals they believe in? This is the first step in directly driving our Company’s growth. You’ll use your analytical skills to gain valuable market information while using your creative side to prepare the documents needed to make the deal presentation happen. Key Responsibilities
You will asssist/manage the creation of the land investment packages (white books). Prepare market analyses of competition communities, product, pricing, sales, traffic, etc., for identified market areas and for specific acquisition opportunities. This includes visits to competitive communities; telephone surveys to competition communities; preparing competition graphs, maps, and product and standard features comparison.Prepare financial FMS analyses of acquisition opportunities (including proformas, P&L, proforma assumptions, cash flows, ROI, etc.). This includes obtaining construction costs and Area costs from the Purchasing Department for base house costs and options
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent related experience. Strong Excel and FMS proforma training. Working knowledge of mathematical concepts with the ability to apply accounting and financial concepts, required.
