What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at K & H Enterprises, DBA Minute Markets?
Must be able to provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. Must be 18 or older to apply. Duties will include but not limited to:
*Operating a cash register
*Giving all customers prompt and courteous service
*Stocking coolers, shelves and all self serve areas
*Maintaining cleanliness of store at all times
*Adhering to all city, county and state laws and regulations
*Performing tasks as assigned by Manager
Job Requirements include:
*Be able to read, understand and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
*Be able to perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level in order to make change, complete shift reports and account for numbers of a variety of products during vendor check-in
*Have sufficient visual ability to check identification and perform any other task that requires visual efficiency
*Be able to read and understand instructions for operating electronic cash registers and other equipment
*Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer, and juice containers, etc at least once a shift
*Be able to bend in order to stock shelves and coolers
*Be able to speak and understand English, including the ability to hear the spoken word
*Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store
*Be able to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 33 degrees up to 30 minutes at a time
*Be able to stand for extended periods of time
