We are actively seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus in developing web-services for an embedded Linux platform to join our high-impact development team. In this role, you’ll play a central part in designing and building back-end interfaces and rich, responsive web interfaces for our soldier worn systems.

About The Role

In this role, you’ll play a central part in designing and building back-end interfaces and rich, responsive web interfaces for our soldier worn systems.

What You’ll Do
- Backend Development: Embedded Linux Web-Services and low overhead databases (such as my_sql), both within the core OS environment, as well as inside docker/Kubernetes containers.
- Frontend Development: Build intuitive, responsive UIs using modern UI frameworks, such as React and JavaScript
- Messaging & Communication: Implement message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) for inter-service communication
- Containerization: Deploy and maintain apps using Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration tools
- Security: Enforce secure coding best practices to safeguard sensitive systems
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and write unit tests with tools like xUnit
- Collaboration: Work in an agile, distributed team and produce clear technical documentation
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux based web-services
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core development
- Experience with SQL and sound database design principles
- Familiarity with secure coding, authentication, and authorization standards
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Comfort with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience integrating message queue technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure ServiceBus
- Strong testing skills using xUnit or equivalent frameworks
- Background in mission-critical communications, military or public safety domains
- Familiarity with desktop UI frameworks (WinForms, WPF, MAUI)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- 3 years in a similar software engineering role or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Must pass a background and fingerprint check
