JOB DESCRIPTION:
At K&G Career Academy, we are committed to providing affordable, reliable, and hands-on training that equips our community with real-world career skills. As our programs grow, so does our team and we’re looking for a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to help us continue building a supportive, people-first workplace.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage recruitment efforts: job postings, candidate screening, and interviews
- Maintain employee records and update HR systems
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training programs
- Respond to employee questions on benefits, policies, and procedures
- Support payroll preparation, attendance tracking, and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with employee engagement activities and team-building events
- Track time off, process leave requests, and assist with benefits administration
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (minimum)
- 1 years of HR or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices (a plus)
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
