We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery Helper to assist with loading, unloading, and delivering goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks, and handling heavy loads. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods
- Help load items into delivery vehicles, ensuring proper securing of cargo for safe transport
- Support the delivery driver with route driving and navigation to customer locations
- Load and unload goods at various sites, often involving heavy lifting and moving items of significant weight
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Maintain safety standards during loading, unloading, and transit activities
- Assist with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Support the driver in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or delivery services preferred
- Knowledge of commercial driving, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record - Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of goods regularly
- Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Reliable transportation to reach various delivery locations
