Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients, counselors, and employers.
- Assist client at the work with their responsibilities, roles and employer expectations.
- Train and teach clients on specific job duties and giving clear instructions.
- Complete reports and documents.
- Show how to complete task and help advocacy.
- Plan accommodations within the work place for clients.
Qualifications:
- Have intermediate computer skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Have attained a High School diploma or equivalent; and possess 2
years’ relevant work experience; or hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Have experience with individuals with disabilities (could be paid or
unpaid work or personal experience)
- 2 years’ relevant experience - which must include advocacy, employer
engagement, and/or workforce development.
- 2 years’ relevant experience must include some kind of teaching,
training, mentoring and/or coaching.
Required:
Hybrid Position: Combines remote work and on-site client support. Responsibilities are completed both from home (virtual meetings, documentation, scheduling, reporting) and at client work sites (in-person meetings, training, job coaching, or assessments).
Background check that will be reimbursed, job coach training, and job developer training.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
