Lead HVAC Installation Technician

K&E HVAC Solutions is looking for an experienced Lead Installation Technician to lead residential HVAC installations and train apprentices. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping others develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installations of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Train and mentor apprentices through hands-on instruction in installation techniques, tool use, safety, and customer service.
• Assign tasks appropriate to apprentices’ experience, supervise their work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Review job details and ensure equipment and materials are ready before installation.
• Ensure installations follow manufacturer instructions, safety procedures, and applicable codes.
• Complete system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checks.
• Maintain clean job sites and protect customers’ homes and property.
• Explain completed work to customers and communicate job updates to the office.
• Complete installation paperwork and track materials used.

Qualifications

• Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
• Ability to lead a crew and teach apprentices patiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, installation practices, and system start-up.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight areas.
• Dependability, organization, and attention to detail.
• EPA certification preferred.

Position: Full-time
Service area: Bluffton and surrounding communities
Pay: Based on experience
