Job Summary
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Conduct different tests such as Total External Static Pressure and Delivered Capacity.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams for servicing HVAC equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in field service, air conditioning, or as a service technician is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding mechanical operations
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Skills to maintain and plumb HVAC systems
