K&E Fire Protection is seeking a full-time Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter to join our growing team. We are a well-established fire protection firm with over 53 years in business, working on systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects nationwide.
Summary of Position:
- This position covers new fire sprinkler system installations in new construction, repairs on existing systems, and inspections/testing to keep systems code-compliant and fully operational. You'll work in the field alongside a partner under the direct supervision of our field superintendent, with room to grow as you take on more responsibility.
Job Qualifications:
- Prior experience in fire sprinkler installation or pipe fitting preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and general pipe fitting practices.
- Comfortable lifting/moving tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing and working from ladders or elevated platforms.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and relevant local/state/federal safety regulations.
- Ability to accurately track materials, tools, and time on the job.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with both crew members and customers.
- Willingness to travel to job sites across the region.
- Reliable transportation to different sites each day; own pickup or work truck a plus but not required.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Opportunities for overtime/weekend pay on after-hours emergency calls.
Compensation:
- $20.00 – $40.00/hour, paid bi-weekly, based on experience.
