Duties
- Perform comprehensive residential and commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals safely to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety guidelines
- Assist with floor care activities like carpet cleaning, polishing, and buffing to restore surfaces to their best condition
- Manage heavy lifting tasks involving furniture, appliances, or supplies safely and effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for assisting with light meal prep or kitchen tidying during client visits
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management or laundry services enhances your versatility in this role
